Jonathan Pope joined the Caterham and Lotus Seven Club for an‘ Introduction to Sprinting’ at Curborough last month. Despite the damp weather, it was a good day with only a few‘ wobbles’.

Ian Bowles is celebrating his 10th year as a marshal in 2026, ranging from his home circuit of Brands Hatch to weekends away at Anglesey or Formula One. For Ian, the attraction is the teamwork and camaraderie.“ I enjoy being close to the vehicles and working with drivers and race teams. Everyone works together to make sure the event runs smoothly.”

Gold Medal navigator on the LeJog road rally Emily Anderson is swapping to stagerallying with a shakedown on Trackrod Rally Yorkshire, followed by a seven-day historic stage event – the Silver Fern Rally in November.“ When the New Zealand invitation came with Trackrod Rally Yorkshire as a shakedown, I jumped at the chance. I am excited and nervous in equal measure for the event, especially about the dreaded Dalby Forest at night in Yorkshire.”
