Motorsport UK is sad to share the news from Trent Valley Kart Club( TVKC) that Pat Connelly, who was involved with the Club from it’ s very beginning, has died.

The Club was established in 1994, and Pat was its first Competition Secretary, playing an important

role in helping the club become successful. Pat remained involved with TVKC and karting for more than 15 years, alongside her husband John, who was the resident Clerk of the Course during this time. The Connelly family’ s involvement with karting

has continued through their son Dominic, who was also involved with karting as one of Paul Fletcher’ s drivers. Pat’ s contribution to Trent Valley Kart Club, and to karting more widely, was significant and will be remembered with great appreciation. Her dedication,

support and involvement over so many years helped shape TVKC in its early days, and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
