Accessible Sim Racng Conference
A new UK conference dedicated to disability, accessibility and opportunity in sim racing will take place at Oxford Brookes University on Saturday 28th November 2026, with the support of Motorsport UK.
Delivered by Motorsport UK Inclusion Grant recipient Quatermass Motorsport, DRiVE 2026 will bring together disabled and neurodivergent people, sim racers, teams, educators, accessibility specialists, technology providers and motorsport professionals for a day of practical guidance, discussion and networking.
Quatermass Motorsport was awarded funding through the Motorsport UK Inclusion Grant to support Disability Racing in Virtual Esports( DRiVE), a project championing accessibility in motorsport through adaptive technologies.
The conference will help disabled and neurodivergent people understand the opportunities available within sim racing, from getting started and choosing suitable equipment and adaptations to finding communities, competitions and development opportunities.

Sid Watkins Lecture 2026
The Sid Watkins Lecture returns for a special evening exploring safety in motorsport.
Led by Sir Ron Dennis CBE, as leading motorsport figures discuss the progress, challenges and innovation that have shaped safety across the sport.
During 37 years at the helm of McLaren, Sir Ron oversaw an era of extraordinary Formula One success alongside continual advances in technology and safety.
Today, that commitment extends beyond motorsport. Sir Ron is Founder and Chairman of Podium Analytics, a charity using science and data to reduce the incidence and impact of injury in sport at every
level, with a particular focus on youth and grassroots sport. In partnership with the University of Oxford, The Podium Institute for Sports Medicine and Technology was launched in 2021 and is undertaking groundbreaking research into brain, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal health.
The evening will raise funds for the British Motorsport Trust, supporting its work to advance safety innovation across UK motorsport.
