E arlier this year I wrote about the excitement surrounding the return of the World Rally Championship to the UK in 2027, and since then a huge amount of work has been going on behind the scenes to turn that ambition into reality. I am delighted that we have now been able to announce another very significant piece of the jigsaw, with the BBC securing the rights to broadcast the FIA World Rally Championship in the UK from 2027.
This is a three-year agreement covering every round of the WRC, with five live stages plus the Power Stage from each rally, a 60-minute highlights programme from every round and, importantly, extensive live
