British Truck Racing Championship
The battle for supremacy in the British Truck Racing Championship was blown wide open at Pembrey Circuit last month. In Division 1, Ryan Smith went from winning both races on Saturday to suffering mechanical woes on Sunday. Adam Bint, Michael Oliver and Stuart Oliver took wins of their own. In Division 2, Simon Cole and Jake Evans renewed their battle from Brands Hatch, with Cole claiming a hat-trick of wins, while Evans took two.

Motorsport UK British Drag Racing Championship
Fuchs Lubricants British Historic Rally Championship
David Crossen and Ben Teggart enjoyed a thrilling victory at the Plains Rally last month – their second Fuchs Lubricants British Historic Rally Championship win of the season in dry and dusty conditions in North Wales. This event was the BHRC’ s long-awaited return to Welsh gravel, and the Escort MkII crew emerged on top after a fiercely contested three-way battle with fellow Escort drivers David Henderson and Chris Lees, and Daniel Mennell and John Roberts. This win also secured another Category 3 [ cars registered between 1975 and 1981 ] triumph, strengthening their position in the title fight.

Motorsport UK Cross Car Championship

Rain stopped play as the semi-finalists lined up for the combined FIA European / Motorsport UK British championship contest. Dutch racers occupied the top three qualifying positions in the 16-car field, a national first. Marck Harteveld, Motorsport UK champion in 2019, earned his first pole position at 5.871sec. Compatriot David Vegter set the event’ s low elapsed time at 5.808sec winning the opening round of eliminations. Vegter’ s defeated opponent, Britain’ s Jon Webster, set top speed at 248.22mph in his losing effort.
It has been a cracking start to the season for the Motorsport UK Cross Car Championship, with an excellent 13-car entry kicking off 2025 at Blyton Park in Lincolnshire where Osian Pryce held off David Kane to take the A Final, before moving to Mondello Park, where Max Weatherley scored a brilliant double-win.
