British Hillclimb Championship
8th-9th August, Shelsley Walsh, Worcestershire, 29th- 30th August, Loton Park, Shropshire
After a busy four-round July, the British Hillclimb Championship races towards the business end of the season with two rounds in August ahead of the season finale next month. With the hill record beaten at Shelsley Walsh in June, anticipation will be high for another exciting round before the contenders head to the beautiful surroundings and demanding Loton Park course.

Following its early summer break, The Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship( BTCC) flies through several rounds, with its annual trip to Scotland and second Donington Park fixture, this time on the full Grand Prix loop. With 12 rounds taking place over just six weeks at this key stage of the season, momentum is vital. Ash Sutton will be hoping that it isn’ t on chief rival Tom Ingram’ s side as the reigning champion aims to regain the initiative in this year’ s title fight.

British GT Championship
15th-16th August, Snetterton, Norfolk
The second half of the British GT Championship gets underway at the height of summer with a double-header of one-hour races on the Snetterton 300 circuit. At the top of the title standings Lamborghini, McLaren and BMW crews are contesting GT3 honours, with just 1.5 points separating Ginetta and Aston Martin crews in GT4. Expect plenty of action when the full grid of supercars rumbles down the Senna Straight ready to take the first of two rolling starts.

Wera Tools F4 British Championship
22nd-23rd August, Donington Park GP, Derbyshire
A brief summer break for the drivers ends with a second visit to Donington Park on the TOCA calendar. At the time of writing Belgian Dries Van Langendonck was beginning to stretch his title lead but Britain’ s Lewis Wherrell leads the contenders, just ahead of Theo Palmer and Scott Kin Londblom.
