The British Autotest Championship has a busy August with three of the final five rounds of the 2026 season taking place. As one of the most accessible of the British championships, the first of these is a real highlight as it takes place at Brooklands, the birthplace of UK motorsport. The round is also held during a big month for the historic venue as it gears up to celebrate 100 years since it hosted the inaugural British Grand Prix.

Wera Tools British Kart Championship

7th-9th August, Whilton Mill, Northamptonshire, 14th-16th August, PFi, Lincolnshire

The penultimate round of the Rotax championship is joined by a guest appearance from the MightE Bambino O Plate at Northamptonshire’ s Whilton Mill circuit in early August. Then one week later the IAME and Honda classes have their penultimate round at Lincolnshire’ s PF International. The action is sure to be fast and furious from drivers aged from six years to 15 and over.

British Rally Championship

8th-9th August, Voly Grampian Forest Rally, Aberdeenshire

Hailed for having some of the most exciting and well-maintained forest stages in the country, the Grampian continues with its popular two-day format. This year’ s event will have added interest, as many of the stage miles are expected to form part of next year’ s inaugural Rally Scotland round of the World Rally Championship.

British Truck Racing Championship

8th-9th August, Donington Park, Derbyshire

Donington is considered the spiritual home of track racing in the UK, having hosted the inaugural British Truck Grand Prix 42 years ago and the venue’ s annual Convoy in the Park is a highlight of the season calendar. Truck racing events continue to offer great value to fans of all ages, with a packed programme including several truck races, a full support programme and off-track entertainment, while the undulating, overtaking-friendly circuit is a favourite with many drivers.
