DISCIPLINARY HEARING – LUKE HILTON
• Nick Bamber and Sian Wooley for Motorsport UK.
• Mr Hilton appeared together with Mr Daniel Hilton and Mr Ward( Team Manager). These proceedings were conducted via Microsoft Teams.
1. Luke Hilton has accrued more than 12 penalty points on his competition licence within a period of twelve months. Accordingly, he has been summonsed before the Court for consideration of further penalty, pursuant to NCR Ch. 2 App. 12 Art. 1.6.
2. The details of these breaches and penalties are as follows.

3. An aggravating factor in Mr Hilton’ s case is that he appeared before this Court on 5th August 2025, having accrued twelve points on his 2025 competition licence between 27th April – 13th July 2025. Two of those breaches were for causing a collision etc., one for driving in a manner incompatible with general safety and one for failing to obey the instructions of an official.( See J2025 / 23).
4. The penalty imposed then was as follows:

5.“ Luke’ s licence will be suspended for twelve weeks with effect from 21st July. Luke is required to complete a minimum of six hours of driving re-education with an independent ARDS‘’ A” or“ S” grade accredited Instructor, the identity of the instructor to be first notified to and approved by Motorsport UK’ s Head of Race.
Upon completion of the course of instruction, the instructor shall provide a written report on Luke’ s participation, conduct and perceived improvement in his driving and general competence to hold a Competition Licence. That written report is to be submitted to Motorsport UK’ s Head of Race. If the Report is considered to be satisfactory Luke may make application for the return of his licence.
Such application will not be considered before August 18th.
In the event that the licence is returned to Luke, the remaining period of suspension will itself be suspended provided no further offences are committed within that period.
Provided no further offences are committed, the penalty points will be removed from Luke’ s licence at the expiration of the twelve weeks of suspension.”
