Appendix 3- Specific Regulations for Road Events
11. Endurance Road Rally
11.1. A Road Rally where a substantial proportion of the Competition takes place on the Public Highway timed to the minute and which shall also include Special Tests on private property which may be timed to the second.
11. All Events
11.1. Road Safety Events and any other form of Event that use the Public Highway All Event types detailed in Arts. 2 – 10 above inclusive, and in Ch. 13 App. 6 must comply with the following:

Except for Road, Historic Road, Enduro, Targa and Navigation Rallies they must not include any Special Tests.
Competitors must not carry any form of Intercom( ie any method of voice amplification) or any radio transmitting device. Exceptionally mobile telephones are Permitted if the Official Documents specifically allow them. Failure to conform will be penalised by Disqualification from the Event.
No regular assistance organised in advance may be used by Competitors in Rallies defined in Arts. 2 above inclusive except when Permitted in the Official Documents for Vintage or Veteran Events or Targa Road Rallies taking place at a Single Venue.
e. No assistance may be expected from the Organisers. f.
Competitors are responsible for ensuring that they are supplied with fuel, oil, water etc. even though the Organisers may advise where these supplies may be obtained.

A Vehicle may not be moved other than by its own power except: |

By a ferry. |
ii. |
By outside means for a minimum distance necessary to extricate it from difficulty. |

By gravity. |

Competitors are strongly recommended to carry a First Aid Kit, high visibility vests or jackets and a torch.
Other than for Targa Road Rallies, where App. 11C Art. 2.2 applies, the use of in car cameras is forbidden. Breach of this Regulation will result in Disqualification from the Event. Any Competitor found to be in breach must be reported to the ASN by the Clerk of the Course for consideration of further disciplinary action. The sharing, broadcasting or any other form of dissemination of in car video footage of road rallies will be considered as an aggravating factor when considering further penalties.
Organisers must not sanction encourage or facilitate the filming of Events taking part on the Public Highway.
Organisers may only use arrows to define junctions on Standard or Regularity Sections on the Public Highway where it is necessary to do so to prevent Competitors passing sensitive areas, or locations where issues have been raised during pre-Event PR work.
It is not permitted for Organisers to require Competitors to drive through any type of building or similar structure on a Special Test, Standard or Regularity Section.
