wheel tracks before too long, but for now it is Elfyn and Scott’ s moment.
The Welsh celebrations continued closer to home, with Osian Pryce securing his second Motorsport UK British Rally Championship title, alongside co-driver James Morgan, following a thrilling conclusion to the season on the Cambrian Rally in North Wales. In appalling conditions, Osian held off Max McRae, with the championship decided by just 1.2 seconds on the final stage. Congratulations to Osian and James, and everyone involved in delivering yet another excellent 2026 British Rally Championship.
There was something rather special about seeing two of rallying’ s most famous family names, Solberg and McRae, at the heart of these dramatic finales. Max’ s grandfather Jimmy won the British title five times, his uncle Colin twice, and his father Alister was champion in 1995. With Oliver also looking capable of emulating the achievements of his World Champion father Petter, it is wonderful to see a new generation of these great rallying families making their own mark on the sport.
