WAMC donate to event medical support
The Welsh Association of Motor Clubs( WAMC) has recognised the work of the three medical officers living in Wales – David Cooper, Andrew Wyson, and Paul Cragg. These volunteers not only attend events but also pay for the equipment and date-sensitive consumables that are essential to the role. Without them our competitors would simply not be able to participate within a safe environment.
The association has raised £ 8,000 to assist with the purchase of equipment and consumables and applauds the dedication of these volunteers to our sport.
The team was presented with WAMC special awards. Andrew Wyson and Paul Cragg received the Silver Salver, and David Cooper the Wilkinson Sword.
A cheque for £ 1,500 was also presented to Mark James, a trustee of Welsh Air Ambulance Service.
