THE PARTING SHOT
Taylor Barnard is the youngest driver to secure a podium, pole and points in Formula E.
The DS Penske driver produced a superb late charge, muscling past both pacesetting Mahindras in the final few laps to claim his first Formula E victory in front of a passionate home crowd.
Barnard is a graduate of the Motorsport UK Academy and was selected for the Team UK programme in 2024, having already progressed into single-seaters after winning notable titles in British, European and World karting championships. Thereafter, Barnard became a winner in F4, FIA F3 and FIA F2 before switching to Formula E at the start of the 2024-25 season.
