compete in an Event in Tenerife, he still endeavoured to ensure that his children could race. He liaised with an individual in Tenerife who ultimately produced documents purporting to come from Motorsport UK authorising each child to compete abroad. It is understood that these documents bear a remarkable similarity to such documents as are issued by the Spanish ASN. d) Mr Donaldson shall pay a contribution to the Costs of the Court in the sum of one thousand pounds sterling(£ 1,000.00).

11. It is these documents that RFEDA forwarded to Motorsport UK and of which Motorsport UK had no knowledge. It is also these documents which were relied upon to enable both children to participate in the Event in Tenerife on 29th May 2026.
12. The Court finds that although Donaldson claims never to have seen the false documents prior to these proceedings, he is the PG licence holder and therefore assumes responsibility for allowing his children to take part in an Event for which their experience was insufficient, for which they were unable to hold the appropriate grade of Licence and to race in circumstances where they would not have the benefit of the insurance cover provided to Competitors with a Motorsport UK Licence.
13. This Court accordingly finds that Mr Donaldson is guilty of each of the Charges against him and Orders that:
a) The PG Licence held by Mr Ian Donaldson be suspended forthwith and that no further Motorsport UK PG Licence be issued to him for a period of five( 5) years commencing with the date of this Order.
b) The Motorsport UK Licences of Mr Donaldson’ s two children who competed in Tenerife be re-instated.
c) Mr Donaldson shall pay a Fine of four thousand pounds sterling(£ 4,000.00).
