DISCIPLINARY HEARING – X( a minor)
• Nick Bamber and Sian Wooley for Motorsport UK.
• X appeared together with Mr Salmon, his Team Manager. These proceedings were conducted via Microsoft Teams
1. X has accrued more than 12 penalty points on his competition licence within a period of twelve months. Accordingly, he has been summonsed before the Court for consideration of further penalty, pursuant to NCR Ch. 2 App. 12 Art. 1.6.
2. The details of these breaches and penalties are as follows.

3. Mr Bamber drew the Court’ s attention to the narrow period of time in which the 2026 breaches occurred against the long period since the breach, now nearly expired, in August 2025. Further, that Motorsport UK recognises that, in appropriate circumstances, reeducation can be valuable and that in this case, the interim suspension of X’ s competition licence brought about by this summons had been only three days, so had been of no effect in terms of preventing X competing to date. 4. Mr Salmon set out X’ s progress, his racing and testing commitments and submitted that, without going behind them, the timing of the breaches had to be viewed in the wider conduct of X’ s otherwise competent racing.
CONCLUSION
5. X’ s competition licence is suspended with effect from today’ s date to 31st August 2026, or until he complies with the following re-education requirement, whichever is the later date.
6. X is required to complete 4 hours of re-education as directed by an independent ARDS grade“ A” or“ S” instructor from the Motorsport UK approved list.

7. On satisfactory completion of that re-education, the instructor shall provide a written report to Motorsport UK’ s Head of Race, detailing X’ s participation, conduct and perceived improvement in respect of his driving and competence to hold a competition licence.
8. If that report is considered satisfactory, X may apply for his competition licence to be returned from that date, not to be before 31st August 2026.
9. X is to pay a contribution to the costs of these proceedings in the sum of £ 500.
