9. Medical Declaration- Disabled Drivers
9.12. In addition to Art. 9.7, it is recommended that any Competitor with a cochlear implant or impaired hearing display the logo( as supplied by the ASN) on both sides of the Vehicle and / or helmet.

Appendix 3- Grade of Event and Licence Types and Grade
1.11. National D1 Licence( ND1)
A National D1 licence( ND1) is a licence valid only for a single specified Event which must have been explicitly approved by the ASN as open to ND1 licence holders and indicated as such on the ASN national calendar.

The Driver must be a minimum of 16 years of age, or must otherwise meet the minimum age requirement for the relevant discipline, whichever is higher.
The ND1 licence shall be valid for one Event only, and shall clearly state the name and date( s) of the Event to which it applies.
The licence shall specify the function of the holder, including whether the holder is permitted to Drive during the Event. Where the Event is conducted on public roads the ND1 licence holder must also hold a valid road driving licence.
Drivers applying for an ND1 licence must also satisfy the medical requirements applicable to the discipline, as set out in App. 2 of this Chapter
Drivers applying for an ND1 licence must have successfully completed any ASN mandated e-learning or training requirements as specified for the Event.
Appendix 5- Competition Licence Applications, Upgrading, Downgrading and Retention of Licences- Race
1. A Competitor making an application for the first time for a Race licence must obtain from ASN a novice Race Driver‘ Go Racing Driver Pack’, which contains the required application form, and then complete an approved course at a school registered with the Association of Racing Drivers’ School( ARDS). The procedure to be followed is contained in the‘ Pack’.
