30. Officiating Capacity 30.1. As detailed above and in accordance with Ch. 5 but with the following exceptions:
30.2. Assistant Road Rally Clerk of the Course: May act as Assistant Clerk of the Course at Road Rallies up to and including Interclub status.
30.3. Road Rally Clerk of the Course: May act as a Clerk of the Course or Deputy Clerk of the Course at all categories of Road Rally.
31. First time applications – Assistant
31.1. Only Clubs who organise Road Rallies may submit a nomination for an Assistant Road Rally Clerk of the Course Licence. An applicant’ s previous motorsport experience will be considered at the ASN’ s discretion.
31.2. The ASN requires all applicants to undertake training before the issuing of an Assistant Road Rally Clerk of the Course Licence.
31.3. The ASN may require applicants to take part in a written or oral examination before the issuing of an Assistant Road Rally Clerk of the Course Licence.
32. Upgrading 32.1. Assistant to Road Rally Clerk of the Course

The ASN may require applicants to take part in a written or oral examination before the issuing of a Road Rally Clerk of the Course Licence.
33. Grade maintenance
33.1. All Road Rally Clerks of the Course are expected to attend at least two out of three consecutive ASN Clerk of the Course seminars for which they are eligible.
33.2. The ASN may require Road Rally Clerks of the Course to take part in a written or oral examination before the re-issuing of their Licence each calendar year.
