2. Insurance
2.1. Motorsport and related activities under an ASN Permit or ASN Certificate of Exemption are insured under the ASN Public Liability Master Policy. Brief details of this insurance can be found at App. 3 to this Chapter.
2.2. The ASN provides a Personal Accident Policy for the benefit of participants in Permitted Events and the brief details of this can also be found at App. 3 to this Chapter.
3. ASN Policies and Codes of Conduct
3.1. The following Policies and Codes of Conduct are of regulatory value and any breach of them as well as any breach of the NCR may be subject to Judicial action as provided by the Judicial Regulations or of any action by the ASN under its inherent authority:

4. Funding and Competition Fees
4.1. The work of the ASN and the cost of insurance premiums is in part funded by Competition Fees. The details of all Competition Fees including Licences, Permits and Judicial Fees for Appeals, Protests and Fines are found at App. 2 to this Chapter. Competition Fees are reviewed annually and effective from 1 January in each calendar year.
5. Competing abroad 5.1. Brief guidance in relation to competing abroad is provided at App. 4 to this Chapter.
6. Safeguarding Policy
6.1. Everyone who takes part in motor sport is entitled to do so in a safe and enjoyable environment. All Persons whose activities are within the scope of these Regulations must follow the ASN Safeguarding Policy and Guidelines( as amended from time to time) and the provisions of this Regulation. Every ASN Recognised Club must have a nominated Club Safeguarding Officer( CSO) licensed annually by the ASN.
6.2. The ASN is committed to helping everyone in motor sport accept their responsibility to safeguard Children and Adults at Risk from harm and abuse. This Regulation and the ASN Safeguarding Policy and Guidelines applies to Persons involved in motor sport. All Persons participating in motor sport have a duty of care to safeguard the welfare of Children and Adults at Risk and prevent their abuse.
6.3. The ASN shall have jurisdiction to investigate any allegation of abuse of a Child or Adult at Risk, any breaches of the ASN Safeguarding Policy and Guidelines and / or any breach of this Art. 6 reported to it. Relevant information will be shared with statutory agencies in accordance with the ASN’ s legal obligations.
